Alpha and Beta versions - whats the difference?

Hi,

Is there any information available to us customers to help us understand the differences and functionality of alpha and beta versions? We’re trying to weigh up the risks of moving to alpha to get some functionality we want, but without really knowing where the significant differences (and therefore potential problems) lie. Does all new functionality only go on alpha now, making a move inevitable? Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Emma,

We are not aware of any major bugs on alpha currently.

There is a list here: Feature list by server-side version/release channel

However, it is in need of updating. @franclin_foping: can you add this to the backlog please? Suggest the QA team handle it.
